28/4/2012  -  Got up this morning and it was quite nice to start with but as the day wore on it got quite windy and cool.  Pa adjusted the electric brakes on the caravan and we did the washing.  First time we have used the washing machine when we have free camped so the generator got a bit of a workout.  We saved the water from the machine just to see how much the machine used and it only used about 15 litres for 1 wash and 1 rinse so we thought that was really good.  We will be able to wash when we free camp as long as we can top up the water tanks after that.  Pa cooked the roast lamb we got from the butcher in Kingston SE yesterday.  He boned it out this morning and I stuffed it.  It was so nice very tender and tasty.  Our first roast for a while.  We have some left over for sandwiches for the coming week.  That will be hard to take.
