27/4/2012  -  As we have decided to stay here for a few days we drove into Kingston SE to stock up on some supplies.  We got some groceries from the IGA and a nice looking leg of lamb from the Butcher and some fishing tackle and bait from Swampy's Tackle Shop.  The "Swampette" in there was really helpful telling us about the local fish spots and rigs.  Had a bit of a look around town and realised that this was quite an RV friendly town.  Probably the best we have been in down this way.  The Caravan Park in town looked good too.  We called into Cape Jaffa on the way back to camp to have a look.  It is a sleepy little fishing town with a jetty and good looking little caravan park but just out of town there is the Cape Jaffa Anchorage, a new canal development.  From there we headed back to camp and moved the van to a site opposite where we were last night.  We will be a bit more protected from the wind and will get a lot more solar into the batteries.  After we got set up there we headed out to the beach hoping to catch some fish. On the way down to the beach we saw an echidna just casually walking across the campground. I was wishing I had the camera with me. Anyway we didn't have any luck with the fishing as there was still too much weed in the water.  Pa lost his brand new glow in the dark lure on a submerged rock so as it was really cold we decided to head back to camp and have a red wine to warm us up. (Actually had 2 before it worked)
